There have been some big changes in my portfolio this week which were not covered in the video:
1. Fitbit was acquired by Google
2. Parsley Energy was acquired by Pioneer Natural Resources
3. GameStop short squeeze $GME making it 36% of my portfolio instead of 20% as mentioned. Everything else has to be slightly readjusted.
4. China Mobile got delisted from the NYSE
In 2020, my portfolio returned 41% vs 16% for the S&P 500 $SPX500 .
🇺🇸 47% of my portfolio is in US Stocks such as Skyworks Solutions, Alaska Airlines, GameStop, Essent Group, JPMorgan Chase.
🌍 Non-US: It is important to talk about China Mobile. Even though the stock got delisted, I'm going to buy more of it on the Hong Kong Exchange as I believe it is undervalue and pays a very nice dividend. I also have Qudian $QD which is the worst performing stock in my portfolio. I also have the South Korean ETF and Brazilian ETF.
🥇 Commodity Stocks 17.1%: I have Polymetal International, a Russian Gold and Silver miner. I also have Freeport-McMoran $FXC , which is a bet on higher copper prices. Why I'm bullish on Copper? EV and Renewable energy and possible supply gap.
🤝 Workouts 5.6%: I have a few arbitrage in my portfolio, Genworth Financials, Inphi and DouYu. I want 20% of my portfolio to be workouts.
💰 The rest is in cash, precious metals and bonds.
